Most effective use cases and how to use the heatmap tool

Heatmap is a tool to see the most frequent areas of motion. You can use it to ensure that places that should have limited traffic do and find high traffic areas to limit hazards.

Step 1: From the main screen, press the video tab to the left. 

Step 2: Select the time that you wish to view the footage and which camera you would like to view.

Step 3: Click on the heatmap tool at the top right. It should look like this.

Step 4:  You should now see your heatmap: red means frequent movement, yellow moderate movement, green minimal movement and no colour means no movement at all. Ideal places to use this tool would be in back of house, dumpsters, the safe or any other place employees should use infrequently.
